About

Conduct After Capture (CAC) teaches you how to survive the most dangerous minutes of being taken, how to protect yourself and others during questioning and detention, how to stay physically and mentally fit in captivity, how to judge an escape opportunity, and how to survive rescue and release. The course covers both military captivity under the Geneva Conventions and civilian hostage and kidnap situations. Taught from the perspective of a former JTF2 operator and Canadian Armed Forces survival instructor. Online course: $650 CAD. Level: Advanced. 7 modules, 10 lessons (approx. 3–4 hours plus drills). Prerequisite: None for the online course. Recommended for military members, security contractors, journalists, NGO and aid workers, and anyone travelling to high-risk regions. Includes: lessons, field drills, quizzes, narrated slide deck and a downloadable course manual. Instructor: Steve Matte, SATS founder, 20-year Canadian Armed Forces veteran and former JTF2 member.
